I am a nerd. Julie and I have been driving 55 mph to see if we would get better fuel economy. Well, it works. WE have a 5 speed, 2003 Chevy Cavalier, and on our trip from the in-laws in Michigan to our home in Marion we average over 47 miles per gallon.

Dad said to tell you that we just checked our last fillup. We averaged 29 miles per gallon driving 75-80 miles per hour. He's like the old horse heading for the barn...he's ready to get home. Maybe the next trip we'll try this out.
