Lunch at Snowville

There wasn't any snow in Snowville, Utah today, but there was a good lunch at Mollie's Diner!  We stepped back in time today when we entered these doors. Marlin had wanted to stop at the place across the street because he had eaten there many times in the past when coming through in the Semi.  However, it was closed today since it was Sunday and the only place to eat besides the truck stop was Mollie's so we went for it.  It was a good choice.

They had all the makings of an old time diner. Good old home cooking just like the sign says.  I had bacon, eggs, and hash browns.  The bacon was the really thick kind that you just don't see in restaurants any more. Hilda got a hamburger with a side of homemade vegetable soup. She said it was very good. Vernon got the french toast again with a huge side of that big bacon and hash browns.  Marlin got an omelet.  We even watched our waitress make a milk shake the old fashioned way. She poured it into a tall glass and took it to the table along with the extra because it wouldn't all fit into the glass.  We sat in the booth in the corner of the restaurant and watched cowboys come in for a meal decked out in their chaps, spurs and hats. Trips to the West are always monumental when you travel by car!
