Ari the Wonderkid turns Two!

Ari turns two today!
He is a very curious child and is very aware of his surroundings. I swear he could jump buildings in a single bound if we let him.  Here he is watching Poppe push snow in the back lot.
He has a special relationship with his blanket and we have learned NOT to forget it when we leave the house, or put him to bed, or comfort him when he falls down. It is clearly his best friend.

Poppe and Ari are two peas in a pod. Ari is a very good eater and eats twice the food that his big brother eats.  In fact, when he is done eating his food, he usually starts slipping items off his brother's plate and into his mouth before Daylen notices.
Sunday was the birthday party, but today is really the big day.  Happy Birthday Ari!!

Being Intentional

Under every condition, in every circumstance, for every burden, in every need, through every sorrow, Christ, the source and sustainer of life, is more than sufficient. A. L. Faust, early Methodist leader

I recently read a posting that talked about being intentional and it spoke volumnes to my heart. Lives change, families move on to the next thing, work gets busy...shoot, life gets busy...but if we aren't intentional in our relationships, especially our relationship with Christ, it produces a giant size hole in our hearts and affects the very depths of our soul and can spill over affecting those around us. Christ is calling us to be intentional with him.  Shhh!  Can you hear him?  He is calling you...He is calling me.
